Year 5

19/09/24

Hi everyone!

Welcome to year 5 😊

Let´s start singing "Good morning song"

Good morning! Good morning!
We've talked the whole night through
Good morning! Good morning to you!

Good morning, Good morning!
It's great to stay up late
Good morning, good morning to you!

When the band began to play,
the stars were shining bright.
Now the milkman's on his way.
It's too late to say goodnight.

So, good morning, good morning!
Sunbeams will soon smile through,
Good morning, good morning to you!
And you, and you, and you!

Let´s talk about "Folk music", it´s generally not written in sentence form. Folk music was handed down from one person to another person.

The first forms of folk music were ballads. The ballads helped people understand many different things like politics, relationships, families, and work. Other ballads explained a victory or loss at a specific battle, a political problem, and there were ballads explaining the origins of immigrants and their families.

Another form of folk music was geared toward children. These folk songs had quick rhymes, snappy or clapping games
